WINTER Internship Batch 2025
The Winter Internship Batch 2025 provided students with a unique opportunity to gain international hospitality experience in Bulgaria’s leading mountain resorts. Set in well-known winter destinations, the program allowed interns to work in a dynamic environment focused on ski tourism and seasonal hospitality operations.
Throughout the internship, students were exposed to real hotel operations during the peak winter season, gaining practical experience while adapting to a fast-paced and guest-oriented work environment.
Professional Experience
During the winter internship, students actively contributed to daily hotel operations, particularly during the busy ski season. Interns worked in departments such as restaurant service, front office, housekeeping, and guest relations, supporting the needs of international winter tourists.
This experience allowed students to develop essential professional skills including communication, teamwork, adaptability, and problem-solving, while understanding the high standards required in seasonal resort hospitality.
Training and Temporary Residence Card (TRC)
As part of the program, students participated in training sessions and received support with obtaining the Temporary Residence Card (TRC), which allows them to legally stay and work during the internship period. These activities helped interns understand administrative procedures and workplace expectations in an international setting.
With guidance from supervisors and coordinators, students were able to complete the required documentation efficiently while adapting to their professional roles
Work and Team Environment
Working in mountain resorts during winter means being part of a diverse and international team. Interns collaborated with colleagues from different countries, ensuring smooth hotel operations while delivering high-quality service to guests.
The multicultural working environment helped students strengthen their teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills, while also building lasting professional and personal connections.
Work–Life Balance
In addition to their professional responsibilities, students had the opportunity to experience life in a winter resort setting. During their free time, interns explored the surrounding mountains, enjoyed snow activities, and experienced the unique atmosphere of ski destinations.
This balance between work and leisure contributed to a rewarding and memorable internship experience.
