Cooperation in the field of professional internships and heliciculture with the Samarkand Institute

A memorandum on joint international cooperation was signed with Samarkand Institute of Veterinary Medicine, which will develop the following areas:

1. Internships of students of the Institute by a group of 18 students on farms of mixed, seasonal and year-round cultivation of land molluscs on farms in Varna and Stara Zagora;

2. Creation of an innovative cluster for the cultivation of snails and the creation of a new specialty "breeding and processing of terrestrial mollusks of the genus" Helix ";

In March 2021, the second visit of the Bulgarian delegation to Samarkand is planned for a more detailed discussion of international cooperation and the signing of a roadmap.
